The Voice of Valentino

The image film for Valentino’s fragrance Voce Viva is a collaboration between Maison Valentino artistic director Pierpaolo Piccioli, LA-based director Harmony Korin, and Lady Gaga.

Shot during quarantine in Los Angeles, Piccioli calls the film is a “celebration of equailty.

The film opens with a fresh-faced Gaga dressed in a signature Valentino gown in a forest singing a stripped-down version “A Sine From Above," from her latest album, Chromatica. She is then joined by a chorus of different voices and faces, which underlines the spirit of equality.

The film's message "My Voice, My Strength," which is also the campaign slogan, is meant to invite "people to use their voice to share their values, diversity and beliefs," according to the Valentino brand.

The fragrance itself is an ode to the femininity of Valentino luxurious top notes of Italian bergamot and mandarin, heart notes of orange blossom and gardenia, and base notes of crystal moss and vanilla.

With Valentino’s usual flair for feminine perfection, this fragrance is bound to be a favorite - and the Lady Gaga image film is such a joy to watch.
